Nigeria requires a clear, structured, and forward-looking policy direction. The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presents a framework focused on economic growth, security, youth empowerment, and institutional reform.

Economic Transformation and Job Creation

Nigeria must transition from a consumption-based economy to a production-driven economy. NDC will pursue industrialisation, agricultural modernisation, SME financing reform, creative and digital economy expansion, and fiscal discipline.

We will prioritise policies that support manufacturing, technology-driven enterprise, and export competitiveness. Our objective is sustainable growth, currency stability, and mass job creation.

National Security and Stability

Security is the foundation of national development. NDC will strengthen intelligence coordination, modernise law enforcement, improve border security, enhance military welfare, and promote community-based security frameworks.

Security policy must remain professional, strategic, and free from political interference.

Youth Development and Innovation

With over 60% of Nigeria’s population under 35, youth represent the country’s greatest potential. NDC will reform educational curricula, expand vocational and technical training, invest in digital infrastructure, and create structured entrepreneurship financing programmes.

Youth must transition from survival to innovation.

Healthcare and Social Protection

Primary healthcare must be revitalised through transparent funding and efficient management. NDC will strengthen universal health coverage, expand health insurance systems, support public-private partnerships, and implement targeted social protection programmes.

Healthcare access should not depend on income level.

Education Reform

Education is a pillar of national security and development. NDC will modernise curricula, strengthen teacher training, integrate digital literacy, and improve research funding across universities and polytechnics.

Our goal is to produce globally competitive graduates.

Governance and Institutional Reform

Strong institutions are essential for long-term stability. NDC will digitise government processes, enforce procurement transparency, protect whistleblowers, strengthen anti-corruption systems, and reform public sector accountability.

Public office must return to its true meaning: service.

The People Have Spoken

My fellow Nigerians , Four years ago, you stood up and demanded a new kind of leadership. You proved that the power of this nation does not belong to a few—it belongs to the people. But today, I stand before you not just with hope, but with a plan. We have listened. We have learned. And we have built—not just a movement—but a structure that reaches every ward, every community, every corner of our great nation. This election is no longer about promises. It is about solutions. We will secure our nation—because no economy can grow without safety. We will rebuild our economy—because no family should struggle to survive in a land so rich. We will invest in our youth—because they are not the future, they are the present. To our brothers and sisters in the North: your challenges are our priority—security, agriculture, and opportunity will no longer be neglected. To the South: we will unlock the full potential of enterprise, innovation, and industry. To every Nigerian: we will ...

Victory for a New Nigeria

A Plausible Winning Scenario for Obi in 2027 Phase 1 (2025–2026): Build a real political machine Obi quietly transforms the Labour Party from a movement into a structure: Recruits strong politicians at state and ward levels Attracts defectors from People's Democratic Party and even some from All Progressives Congress Invests heavily in polling unit agents nationwide Outcome: He now has actual vote-delivery capacity, not just popularity. Phase 2 (Mid-2026): A major opposition coalition forms This is the turning point. A faction of PDP (possibly led by influential governors) breaks away They align with Obi under a coalition agreement Obi agrees to power-sharing deals (cabinet, party structure, etc.) Result: Opposition votes that were split in 2023 become unified Phase 3: Strategic Northern breakthrough Obi makes a serious northern play: Picks a highly respected northern running mate Gains endorsements from key northern figures Focuses messaging on: Security Agriculture Poverty redu...
